Our need for yoga teachers and substitutes is always fluctuating; therefore, we always accept applications.
Teaching at Tucson Yoga
Experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. If you're an established teacher in town, an email stating your interest may be enough, including details about your availability. For others, your chances are improved if you can provide any of the following:
* A resume, detailing your training and studies, your past teaching experience with dates, and a list of references and contact information.
* A detailed listing of your availability for weekly class time slots.
* A listing of your current teaching schedule. Please indicate which classes, if any, would be appropriate for one of our staff to attend or observe.
* If available, an audio or video recording of you teaching. This is particularly helpful to us in evaluating teachers who aren't currently teaching elsewhere in town. The quality of the recording is not important -- a hand-held voice recorder, or a home-video filmed by a friend with a camcorder... you can email us a YouTube link or drop off an audio CD, a DVD or a DV mini-tape.
Compensation is competitive, and is based on student attendance. Please feel free to email us to ask for compensation details after you apply.
