Cancellation & Absence Policy
for Workshops & Courses
This cancellation policy applies only to workshops and courses that do not have their own explicitly stated cancellation/refund policy.
Cancellations made by 5pm at least 3 days before the workshop will receive a 100% refund. (For example, if the workshop is scheduled on Saturday, February 25, you'd need to cancel by 5pm on Wednesday, February 22 for the full refund.
Cancellations made by 5pm on the day prior to the workshop will receive a studio credit for the amount paid minus a 20% administrative fee. For example, if the workshop was on a Saturday and you paid $35, you'd receive a studio credit for $28 if you cancelled by 5pm on Friday.
Cancellations made after 5 pm on the day prior to the workshop will not receive a refund or credit. However, if you cannot attend, please notify us anyway if possible, so that we know not to expect you.
Absences
Pre-registering for a course or workshop implies an agreement that you intend to show up at the scheduled times and days. Make-up classes are not available, and payment cannot be applied to future sessions, except under the advance cancellation rules listed above. Regrettably, we cannot refund payments for classes that are missed due to illness or emergencies.
How to Cancel a Workshop or Course Registration
1) Leave a message at 988-1832 ext.9, or email ty@tucsonyoga.com indicating the workshop, your name and email address, and how you paid. The time and date of your message will be recorded.
2) Read the information above to determine if you're eligible for a refund or credit.
3) You can expect any applicable refund or credit within 4 business days. Refunds for PayPal purchases will be credited to your PayPal account. Refunds for credit card purchases will be credited to the card that was used. Refunds for cash or check purchases will be created as a print-friendly credit slip emailed to you.
NOTE: If you paid online with a PayPal account that's under somebody else's name or with an old email address, be sure to specify the name and email address that were used to make the payment. |
