Tucson Yoga grew from a vision to create an affordable and accessible yoga center and became the first low-cost yoga studio in the country. Over the years this has helped bring yoga into the lives of tens of thousands of people, and our commitment to affordability has attracted a diverse student community. We've become known for our excellent teaching staff with rich backgrounds and creative approaches. Since Tucson Yoga opened, other yoga studios in Tucson have been inspired to offer reduced-cost classes, and Tucson is now the leading city in the country for low-cost yoga, inspiring studios in other cities around the country and around the world.
Our eco-friendly studio features a beautiful cork floor, murals inside and out painted by local artists and is conveniently located near the University of Arizona and downtown Tucson, with easy access for driving, biking or walking. We have an adjunct space right next door that is home to our Mysore program. Find out more about renting Studio 148 for your next class or event.
How To Find Us
We are located at 150 S. 4th Ave in Tucson, AZ. Our studio is one block south of Broadway in the Armory Park neighborhood. If you are heading west on Broadway take the Toole Loop on the right just as you come into downtown (past Euclid and under the bridge). If you are heading east on Broadway turn right onto South 4th Avenue just before you exit downtown.
There is plenty of street parking near the studio and surrounding streets. Parking meters are free after 6 pm during the week and on the weekends. These are also the busiest times so please plan ahead.
We have several bike racks right in front of the studio as well! We are closest to the Toole Avenue SunLink stop.
Laurent Baig, owner
In 2012 Laurent left a 20-year career as an electrical engineer with a growing desire to teach more yoga. As luck would have it, Tucson Yoga was looking for a new owner. Laurent has carried on the original vision of Debbie Daly to provide quality, affordable yoga classes to the Tucson community and continues to expand that vision to carry the studio into the next decade.
