Laura has spent over a decade practicing and teaching yoga and has developed an approach that is engaging and fun. She has studied a wide number of methods and disciplines, including Anusara, Ashtanga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative, Yin, Iyengar, philosophy, and anatomy. Drawing from this extensive range of study she offers challenging, creative classes grounded in alignment-based asana, methodology, and inquiry. Her sequencing is intended to develop body awareness through an understanding of basic and fundamental principles, in order to then safely venture into more challenging forms. This approach provides practitioners with a toolbox of body, mind and spiritual techniques that can be applied to all yoga classes and outside of class.
